Countdown to Countdown - Day 16

Bid farewell to Hyderabad, back home for a couple of days before heading to Bangalore for the social media week. Action packed days indeed. Also time to take a stock of things, see whether we are on the right track. The track is right, almost 500 fans on the Dream Live page. Had a little chat with Dayala, can see that he is so pressed for time even thinking is an effort! But am sure all this is for the good thing ahead... dream becoming a reality. Lots to be done, since its a project and that too people's project it needs to find support among the people. Something like a successful democracy, Of the people, for the people and by the people.

The other day, I was watching  a programme titled ' Chivas Gentleman's code: The ideal man' on Star world. They showed some successful  Indian men and what according to them were the qualities of an ideal man, Even women, on the show were asked the same questions. What I particularly liked us the segment that showed our childhood hero Wing Commandar Rakesh Sharma the first Indian to travel in space. I was amazed at his simplicity and how matter of factly he took his achievement. He said that it was a duty, he was chosen for a job to be done, he did that and came back. Life was the same afterwards. He also spoke about why he didn't let his son join the Indian Air Force.  He'd always be compared with his father and that was not fair. Ideal men are not only strong but also sensitive when it comes to their relationships and the society that they represent. Guts, honour and love of family define them. Respect for self and everyone prevails!Strongest men have strong dreams and equally strong will power to achieve them. Nothing is impossible to them, even that word shouts I'm possible!

All men dream but not equally.
There are those who dream at night
Reaching into the dark recesses of their mind
To wake up in the morning and to find it was vanity.
But the truly courageous are those who dream
During the day with their eyes wide open,
For they can make their dreams come true.
